Effective from August 1st, the Mooring Ticket
Starting from August 1st, the municipal regulation for the mandatory “Ticket di Stazionamento” (Mooring Ticket) will be in effect, targeting boaters who anchor in the bays of Ponza and Palmarola.
You can pay the ticket exclusively through the designated electronic systems available on the myponza.it portal and the MyPonza app, which is accessible on both PlayStore (Android) and AppStore (iOS). On the portal, you’ll find all the information related to the necessary procedures.
This new Mooring Ticket regulation aims not only to regulate tourist flows but also to collect funds for the preservation and care of the island’s precious and delicate natural beauty. It’s a goal shared not only by the residents of Ponza but also by its devoted visitors, who we hope will help maintain its unique characteristics over time.
This regulation is the first outcome of the collaboration agreement between the Municipality of Ponza and the Lazio Region for the joint management of Special Marine Conservation Zones.
