The Barca@Barca project begins
The Barca@Barca project will finally see the light this year and will come into effect experimentally from next August 1st.
The system, which can be activated through the MyPonza App and the myponza.it portal, allows boaters who are moored freely in the bays of Ponza and Palmarola to request waste collection service directly on the boat, thanks to the booking and payment system developed for the Mooring Ticket.
The service rates, which are based on the volumes of waste to be delivered, will consist of 4 rates combined with as many capacities up to a maximum capacity of 360 liters.
The experimentation carried out this summer will serve to perfect the service that next year will complete the revolutionized waste collection system of the island of Ponza, which will aim to reach the recycling limits imposed by the European Union through the combination of the Door-to-Door collection on the island and the Barca@Barca at sea.
